Quality of care and adherence to antiretroviral drugs in specialized HIV services in Pernambuco/Brazil, 2017-2018

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to evaluate health care quality and medication adherence in people living with human immunodeficiency virus specialized services. This is a cross-sectional, evaluative study, quantitative approach, carried out ten services Pernambuco. Two instruments were validated analyzed by statistical tests used 306 adults their service managers participated. standard equivalent for most indicators. Only the countryside, indicators referring availability antiretroviral drugs absence associated low (p-value=0.033 p-value=0.011), latter being predictor adherence.
